Forensic Evaluation

Dr. Haxter provides services as a forensic psychologist for court cases tried within Virginia, Washington DC and West Virginia. A forensic evaluation is scheduled with Dr. Haxter upon the request of your attorney or referring agency. If a written report is requested, it is sent directly to your counsel or referring agency once completed. Dr. Haxter is able to serve as an expert witness, upon request of your counsel. He completes several types of forensic evaluations, including but not limited to:

  • General/Comprehensive Psychological Assessment

  • Competence to Stand Trial (CST)

  • Mental State at the Time of Offense (MSO)/Criminal Responsibility 

  • Sex Offender Risk Assessment

  • Juvenile Psychosexual Evaluation

  • Evaluation of Parenting Capacity

  • Capital Crimes 

  • Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder Issues
